How to Use
How to Use the Graphic Novel Database
There’s really no wrong way to use this site, but here are a couple of suggestions if you’ve come here looking for something specific and you’re having trouble.
- Are you looking for a particular comic book or graphic novel series?
–View the alphabetical listing of titles in the Categories menu on the right hand of most pages. If you don’t see the menu, click on the Home link at the top.
- Are you looking for where a particular comic book issue has been reprinted or collected?
–Use the site’s Search function to pull up a list of possible matches. It can be found on the top right hand side of most pages. If you don’t see the Search field, click on the Home link at the top. To get the most accurate results from the blog’s Search feature, include the issue title, the number symbol (#) and the number of the issue. For example, if you are looking for where the 183rd issue of Action Comics has been reprinted, type in “Action Comics #183”. Leaving out the number symbol will pull up everything that reprints Action Comics.
- Are you looking for graphic novels by a particular writer or artist?
–Use the site’s Search function to pull up a list of possible matches. It can be found on the top right hand side of most pages. If you don’t see the Search field, click on the Home link at the top. To get the most accurate results from the blog’s Search feature, include both the creator’s first and last name and make sure your spelling is correct.
