Synopsis from publisher:
One of the most beautiful artistic achievements in comics is collected again! Telling the richly metaphorical tale of Blood, a young vampire, BLOOD: A TALE follows the endless cycle of life and death to find the seeds of redemption in a fever-dream of a dying king, love eternal, and a life of bloodlust.
This publication reprints the Blood: A Tale comic book mini-series. All material in this publication was written by J.M. DeMatteis and painted by Kent Williams. The final issue also has images by George Pratt, Jon J. Muth and Sherilyn Van Valkenburgh.
The series was originally published in 1987 by Marvel Comics’ imprint Epic Comics. In 1996, DC Comics’ Vertigo reprinted the mini-series and then released this collected publication.
