Synopsis from publisher:
This new trade paperback features five bone-chilling tales of horror, magic, loss and regret with art by five world-class illustrators, originally presented in HELLBLAZER #140-143, the last four issues of Warren Ellis’s run on the book.

Notes:
This is the thirteenth collection of the Hellblazer comic book series. All reprinted material was written by Warren Ellis. Each issue was illustrated by a different artist: Frank Teran (issue #140), Tim Bradstreet (#141), Javier Pulido (first story from issue #142), James Romberger (second story from issue #142), and Marcelo Frusin (issue #143). The cover by Tim Bradstreet was originally used for the cover to issue #140.
This collects the second half of Warren Ellis’s run on the series. Not collected are Hellblazer #144 and #145 by writer Darko Macan and Gary Erskine, a two-part story commissioned after Ellis exited early from the series due to frustrations with editorial decisions by DC Comics. Allegedly, Ellis had written a story for issue #144 that addressed gun violence in America, but following the Columbine High School disaster of April 1999, decision-makers at DC Comics felt uneasy about releasing it. A censored version of the script did not meet Ellis’ satisfaction and he terminated his contract on the series. Macan and Erskine were then hired to fill in while a new creative team was found. These two issues, along with Ellis’ never-published “lost issue,” have never been collected or reprinted.
